Gary, our private podiatrist, comes in to the home every 8 weeks to make sure our residents feet are maintained and at a correct health level. He has been attending Park View for several years and the residents have really enjoyed their time with him. He comes in and not only does their feet but he makes sure they are smiling as well.
Podiatry plays an important role in maintaining an older person's foot and lower limb health, mobility and independence and managing falls risk. Poor podiatric health is such a significant contributory factor to falls.
